A load is considered heavy haul if it exceeds standard legal limits: over 80,000 lbs gross vehicle weight, wider than 8.5 feet, taller than 13.5 feet, or longer than 53 feet. These loads require oversize/overweight permits and specialized trailers.

An RGN (Removable Gooseneck) trailer has a detachable front section that drops to ground level, allowing heavy equipment to drive or be loaded directly onto the deck. Once you submit your carrier setup packet with all required documents (MC authority, DOT#, W-9, certificate of insurance, signed carrier agreement), we typically complete our review within 24–48 business hours so you can get set up and start hauling.

We require a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability coverage and $100,000 in cargo insurance. For loads with equipment valued over $500,000, higher cargo coverage may be required. Your existing commercial truck insurance may already meet these requirements.

We generally prefer carriers with at least 6 months of active FMCSA authority and a clean safety record. Exceptions may be made for experienced operators with strong safety scores and appropriate equipment.
